My art does not seek the image, but the essence.

Why are my works so reduced and less photorealistic? It's quite simple: for me, the personality and fascination of an animal lies in its nooks and crannies. Perfection smoothes things out. Character lives from imperfection - from the small, raw details that make a personality unique.

 

It's about the moment when we pause, feel connected and can almost hear the animal breathing. That's why I reduce, but only where it serves the expressiveness. Each work comes alive as a result - in its very own, unpolished way.
